Flight of the Navigator is a 1986 Disney science fiction film about a boy, David, who is transported eight years into the future (he does not travel eight years into the future, he is actually gone for eight years on the ship, he just does not remember it and does not age) by an alien space craft. It was written by Mark H. Baker and Michael Burton and directed by Randal Kleiser.
