"Gangsta Gangsta" is the second single by American rapper Lil' Scrappy from his 2006 album Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live. The song features and is produced by Lil' Jon. The music video for the song premiered on BET on December 8 2006. The video is about him being arrested but then escaping, and the rest of the video follows him trying to lose the police. In the end, it turns out he is arrested and the whole video was just a fantasy scenario. There is an EP released onto iTunes (Digital Downloading), released on May 30th, 2006. This is the first single off of Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live, yet the video was released later than it's first single (Money In The Bank). This song was a cover version of the original version by N.W.A. in 1988. Lil' Scrappy is from Atlanta, Georgia but the video is shot in Compton, California, possibly due to the fact that the song's original artist's, N.W.A are from Compton.
"Gangsta Gangsta" is a single from American rap group N.W.A.'s 1988 album, Straight Outta Compton. The song later appeared on the N.W.A Greatest Hits album and The Best of N.W.A. - The Strength of Street Knowledge. The song conveys the dangers of living in the streets of Compton, California and South Central Los Angeles but also speaks of the appealing side of "gangsta life". Rappers The Game and Lil Scrappy have made covers of this song.
